The service taking payment and the place making the medicine may be different. Ask about both.

A clinician is a doctor, nurse or other health professional who assesses or treats you. FDA is short for Food and Drug Administration, the US drug review agency.

A service name and a pharmacy name differ.

The service

Who arranges the care?

Ask who handles the visit, the bill and messages to the clinician.

The pharmacy

Who makes and sends it?

FDA notes that people getting medicines made to order through online services may not know who made the medicine.

Get the actual pharmacy name before trying to check a permit. The name on a package deserves a match, too.

Sterile means free of living germs.

An outsourcing facility is a business registered with the FDA to make batches of sterile medicines.

Registering with FDA gives neither the business nor the medicines it makes FDA approval.

As of September 2026, sending made-to-order sterile medicines into Florida requires an extra permit for a pharmacy or outsourcing facility based outside the state.

Ask for the separate permit number. If the search leaves that record unclear, keep it as an open question.
